Norma Rose

In memory of my late mother, Norma Rose Carlino, I present my “Norma Rose” writing desk, crafted from sensational, heavily figured Curly Cherry with Satin Black Hard Maple Legs. There are several design elements that make this piece an exceptional exercise in functional art: the gently angled top, tapered from front to back. Subtle top to bottom tapers of the vertical back element. The carefully crafted front, flowing the curly cherry figure across the entire area. And of course, my signature curved legs, contrasting perfectly with the Cherry.
